Currently viewing: TigerTail Studios » Careers

Who are we looking for?

Great programmers and brilliant artists, of course! But more than any of that, we're looking for someone passionate about games and gaming, and who is looking to do original and creative work in the games business.

Is TigerTail the studio of the future?

Us!

or your future, atleast?

Before we go about telling you what ultra-motivated, team-playing, highly-independent super-achievers we're looking for, we feel it's only fair that you check out what we're about. You're the best judge of whether TigerTail is right for you! If you feel it is, do write to us

Artists

Leonardo, where art thou?

It's that combination of creativity, skill and out-of-the box thinking we're looking for. If you're skills don't match the set listed below but you're original and love creating new characters and scenarios, do write to us. Incidentally, for those of you who believe you can never do what Da Vinci did, just remember that he didn't have Photoshop and you do ;)!

The skills we're specifically looking for at the moment are:

- Ability to conceptualize original content

- Degree of comfort with Photoshop and/or equivalents

- Ability to work on Adobe Flash and Director

- Strong communication and team skills

Developers

Someone who's great at coding in Java, C, C++, Lisp, Prolog, Lua, ActionScript, French, English and Japanese...err, not those kinds of languages?

At TigerTail, we believe that languages are just a way of expressing your thoughts. We're looking for people with a clear, logical thought process, a sense of curiosity, the willingness to learn and the flexibility to do different things. Competency in the areas below would be helpful

- Sound programming fundamentals (especially data structures and algorithms)

- Degree of comfort with atleast one programming language and / or scripting language ( C/ C++/ Java/ ActionScript/ Lua)

- Exposure to Adobe Flash Development or Electroserver would be a plus
